Located in the historic centre of La Paz, just one block away from charming Jaen street, is a comfortable hostel, perfect for relaxing after a busy day seeing the sites.
Arranged around a tranquil courtyard are two blocks featuring both Indigenous and Spanish décor as a respect for the duality always present in the local culture. The first block, a restored 200 year old building, is furnished and decorated with a mix of colonial and western type furnishings while the the second block, built in the 70’s, has been updated to accommodate rooms which are decorated with murals relating to indigenous beliefs. All rooms are fitted with clean shared or private bathrooms (showers with hot water), free toiletries, bed linen, towels, WiFi and complementary breakfast.
Guests are welcome to relax on the roof terrace which offers almost 360 degree views of the city. There is also a 24 hour front desk manned by friendly staff, a snack bar and shared TV room.
Enjoying a privileged location, Hostel Ananay is only 500 meters from Plaza Murillo, an easy 7 minute walk from the bus station and only a 30 minute car ride from the international airport.
