If you’re looking for a clean, quiet and inexpensive place to stay, Hostal Sol Andino is a great choice.
Travelers are welcomed to simply decorated yet spacious single, double, triple or quadripple rooms, each with cable TV, private bathroom, free WiFi, hot showers, towels and daily housekeeping. During the winter months the rooms can be cold, however heaters are available from the front desk for a small price. A continental buffet breakfast is also included in the room price.
Staff, though speaking only a little English, are friendly and accommodating, offering early check-in when possible, bag storage and advice on La Paz’s best sights, restaurants and nightlife.
Transportation from the bus terminal or airport is available at anytime of day, with advanced notice and a nominal fee.

Unfortunately, the hostel doesn’t have a common room or kitchen, therefor is not conducive to meeting other travelers. However, what Hostal Sol Andino lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in it’s central location, comfortable rooms and peaceful ambiance.
